The location of Silver Goose Lodge is ideal for goose and duck hunting. The season last for three (3) weeks starting in September. The best hunting area is located at Marsh Point, a fifteen (15) minute boat ride from the Lodge towards the Hudson Bay coast.
All terrain vehicles are available for those who wish to trek furthur out on the north and east sides of Marsh Point. The east end of Hay Island and the meadow on the mainland are other popular areas frequented by hunters.
